Smartwatch data sim card user guide

Quick guide

  1. Remove your Smartwatch SIM card from the SIM card holder and note the last six numbers printed on the card. You will need this number to activate the card.
  2. Insert your Smartwatch SIM into your smartwatch SIM slot.
  3. Activate your Smartwatch SIM at keepgo.com/activate.

Go to keepgo.com/activate and enter your SIM card ICCID and your email address.

Where can I find my phone number?

Your Smartwatch SIM phone number will be sent to you in the activation email.

Where can I find my SIM card serial number (ICCID)?

The ICCID is the number printed on the SIM card. You can use the last six numbers instead of the whole number as it is quite long.

What does Keepgo Smartwatch SIM kit include?

The app asks for my phone number, what should I type?

During first time registration the app sends verification message to your phone. You should type in your local line number you use in your phone, so the app will receive verification message correctly.

How do I add my smartwatch to the app?

After the app has successfully verified your phone, you will be able to press "add" button to add your smartwatch. Insert your Smartwatch SIM into your smartwatch and type in country code and phone number of your Smartwatch SIM there to add your smartwatch. You can find your Smartwatch SIM country code and phone number in the activation confirmation email you receive when you activate your SIM card.

How much data does my smartwatch use?

Data consumption depends on many factors such as the type of device, settings and functionality. A simple smartwatch with a GPS tracker typically consumes less than 50 MB per month. More advanced models that allow video streaming or web surfing may consume significantly more data.

How do I purchase or extend my Keepgo Smartwatch Data SIM card subscription?

You simply purchase a subscription whenever you run low. We will send you an alert via email and/or text message when your data balance falls below 250Mb, 100Mb, reaches 0Mb or subscription expiry date is close. You can purcase or extend you subscription manually on Keepgo website or via Keepgo App.

What forms of payment can I use to purchase or extend a subscription?

You can use Paypal and all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) to purchase or extend your subscription. We also accept payments via iDEAL (for our Dutch customers).

Will my Keepgo Smartwatch Data SIM card expire after usage?

Your Keepgo Smartwatch Data SIM card will never expire. You can use it for all your future trips.

What is the validity period of my subscription?

Your data will be valid for 1 year from the moment of your last subscription purchase.

Keepgo collaborates with the major carriers worldwide to make sure that you receive the best connection available to you. Most of the largely populated areas have great cellular signal and your mobile device will work without any disruptions. However, there is a number of factors that can prevent you from getting good mobile coverage.

You may be able to get weak or no signal due to limitation in topography (the surroundings), network architecture (the location of cellular antennae) and capacity (the number of callers communicating in the area at given time). If you have concern regarding the coverage in the area you are traveling to, please get in touch with our customer support in advance.
